2lb Residual Pressure Valve 1/8" NPT
Residual pressure valves reduce undesirable 'spongy' feel or excessive pedal travel.
They retain a preset pressure of 2lb between themselves and the caliper to reduce the amount of 'return' of the caliper pistons.
One valve fitted near each caliper will improve brake response and give you a firmer pedal.
Overall Size: 64mm long x 14mm hex (across flats).
1/8" NPT threads in the blue anodised body.
Supplied with two brass adapter unions - 1/8" NPT male to 3/8" UNF with CONVEX seat.
If you do not have the correct male unions on your brake lines to seal on the convex seat, we would recommend replacing them with either of our part numbers PSBF13 (3/8"UNF) or PSBF17 (M10 x 1).
NOTE: The end with the notches goes caliper side.
